Comet's Corner Store Policy – What You Need to Know
Welcome to the one‑stop guide for how we handle orders, deliveries, and returns at Comet's Corner. We keep things plain so you can shop for your dog's food, toys, or cat treats without guessing what’s allowed and what isn’t.
Shipping & Delivery
We ship all over the UK and the Republic of Ireland. Orders placed before 2 pm GMT are packed the same day and leave our warehouse within 24 hours. Standard delivery takes 2‑3 business days, while express service gets your package to you in 1 day for an extra charge. All parcels are tracked, so you can see where they are at any moment.
Free shipping applies to orders over £50. If your basket is below that amount, a flat fee of £4.99 covers standard delivery. We don’t ship to PO boxes or overseas addresses – if you need help with a special destination, drop us a message and we’ll see what we can do.
Returns & Refunds
Changed your mind or got a damaged item? No problem. You have 30 days from delivery to start a return, as long as the product is unused, in its original packaging, and includes the proof of purchase. To begin, fill out the online return form and we’ll send you a prepaid label.
Once we receive the returned goods, we’ll inspect them and issue a refund to the original payment method within 5‑7 business days. Refunds cover the product price but not the original shipping fee, unless the return is due to our error (wrong item, broken packaging, etc.). If you receive a faulty product, we’ll also cover the return shipping cost.
For items like food, treats, or health supplements, we only accept returns if they’re unopened and still sealed. This protects the safety of all pets who might otherwise receive a compromised product.
Need to cancel an order? If it hasn’t been dispatched, you can cancel it straight from your account or by contacting us. Once the order is on its way, the normal return process applies.
We take your payment security seriously. All transactions are processed through encrypted gateways, and we never store full card details. You can pay with major credit/debit cards or PayPal – whichever you trust most.
